Dr. Mariados is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist with extensive experience treating a variety of tumors.

He graduated from University of Ottawa and received his Radiation Oncology training at Upstate in Syracuse and completed two specialized fellowships in Stereotactic Radiation Oncology and Brachytherapy at University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada. 

He is the past Director of Research and has been principal investigator in a number of National Cooperative trials and is well published in peer reviewed journals. He is the first author in two recent pivotal landmark National trials introducing spacing materials in the US for prostate cancer.
